TOPSHOP hits LA with style, street party

Topshop has finally hit LALA town, we have been waiting for months for the grand opening of the new flagship store in The Grove LA, it's about time they opened a store in California as, 25% of online purchases were from California so it's only right that they opened on the west side. The store is 30,000ft the biggest store they have in the USA. It has two very spacious floors. The grand opening was an absolute success Topshop hosted a "Big British street party" showing LA how us brits party. The grove is perfect for a street party just like this as its all pedestrianised. Even though The Grove has been the top of the list. Phillip Green had other LA locations such as Beverly Hills, Glendale and Third street promenade. But  like Phillip we think Topshop at the Grove is a perfect location for the fashionista store. About 10,000 Topshop fans graced the grove which has been named as the biggest store opening yet. Overheard was a tourist saying "Is this how you open stores in LA" and a passer by replied with "yes sir this is how we do it" we love this comment. Customers started arriving at 5am for a 4.pm store opening. The lucky first 100 customers through the door got a $100 gift card to spend in Topshop. The famous Topshop ice cream van was there to give out swag bags which had gift cards ranging from $20-$1000 to have a $1000 to spend in Topshop JUST WOW!! The things we would buy. The street party had plenty of swag stands, printing personal t-shirts, Topshop temporary tattoos and cute little Topshop lemonade stands. Models dressed from head to toe in Topshop/Topman and had sweet vintage bicycles riding them up and down the street giving out Topshop swag bags containing water,Topshop magazine and gift cards. The street was decorated with balloons and true British bunting, it's like the jubalee decor all over again. The DJ pumped the tunes throughout the street, Demi Lovato performed on the Topshop stage she sang "give your heart a break" the fans screamed for Demi which could be heard all over LA. A mini catwalk show was held just minutes before the opening with models and special guest stars arriving in black London cabbies. Kate Bosworth, Demi Lovato, Chole Green and Phillip Green all opened the store as 10,000 customers watched them cut the ribbon. We love how Topshop is still sticking to their British roots.
