Fashion Week starts 7th February!

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Announces Preliminary Line-Up for the Fall/Winter 2013 Collections New York 7th -14th Feb.

Designers such as Donna Karan, Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Michael Kors will be taking the stage!

London Fashion Week starts on the 15th Feb with the principle sponsor being Vodafone.

Of course we cannot wait to see Topshop Unique hit the stage as well as Mulberry, Meadham Kirchhoff and Vivienne Westwood!

Milan Fashion Week starts February 20th, this has to be Amy's favourite week! With the likes of Gucci, Prada, Versace, Dolce & Gobbana, Fendi and Roberto Cavalli, your guaranteed fabulous styles and trends!

 

(You’ll be on such a high from the Milan fashion shows, so why not head to the Roberto Cavalli nightclub, Milan afterwards! From what I can remember it’s quite pricey, but the cocktails are to die for and you will definitely feel like a celebrity after hitting the dance floor with catwalk designers and models./image from f1.rocks.com)

Paris is the finale to the 2013/2014 Autumn/ Winter, as the Parisian ready-to-wear designers will be strutting down the catwalk from the 26th February. We're both excited to see outfits by Nina Ricci, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and of course the infamous Chanel!

Get this weeks Grazia magazine and get 25% off American apparel (full price items) we are in love with their disco pants! And they only way we could afford them was to buy them on our trip to California last summer. We know that most high street stores sell them but we find them not half as good quality as American apparel so if your going to infest in a pair get them at a price off £58 :) bargain! Or if they don't take your fancy American apparel has loads of amazing stuff. Especially with the new 90's trend they are bang on trend! American apparel has a style that just keeps going so you can keep them forever and it will never go out of style :)

Santigold #girlpower

We are loving this new music video from Santigold with the song "girls" at Fashionsaurus we LOVE Santigold and this video is so inspirational, with video clips of women all over NYC massive girl power. It kinda reminds us of the Google Chrome adverts which we can't get enough of. Lots of great inspirational outfits in this video.

TOPSHOP hits LA LA town

The Fashionistas of Los Angeles prayers have been answered, Topshop are spreading its wings across the USA to Los Angeles, this will be Phillips Greens 4th store to open in USA. Having wonderful locations such a NYC, Chicago and Las Vegas. The store will open in February 2013 but their has been talks that Rick Caruso the owner of The Grove would like to open it as early as November 2012. Topshop has a great location of Los Angeles the lovely Grove, The Grove is a cute part of Los Angeles just imagine a Disney atmosphere with high-street stores. It's so quaint with a double decker trolly going up and down the Main Street. It will take over the BananaRepublic store. Whilst in America, when talking to Americans they are still learning about Topshop and its developing into a big brand. Los Angeles is a great location for Topshop as it will be its first store on the west coast, so the whole of California will flock towards The Grove to get there Topshop Fix. The grove is home to the tv show "Extra" remember heart throb "Slater" Mario Lopez from "Saved by the bell" he hosts the popular day time chat show. This will grab a lot of free exposure for Topshop as it will be in prime shot. The show films twice a day and 1000's of people visit The Grove to see celebs appear on the chat show. Which again will bring in the customers. Rumour has it that "Demi Lavato" is set to be the new face of Topshop when the store opens @ The Grove. Demi is a huge fan of the brand and has been seen in numerous Topshop outfits.

Eager fashionistas of LA you don't have to wait until February to visit the store. Phillip Green has opened a pop up store on Melrose on the corner of Edinburgh. It's opposite a store which is owned by three famous sisters who go by the name of Kardashian, who have also collaborated with another Arcadia store Dorothy Perkins. To Me and Amy's disappointment the Topshop popup store on Melrose is only available by appointment and only having a short trip to LA we didn't have time. Also we think our Topshop cards would have been maxed out.
