DIY Skeleton Shirt fashion meets Halloween

Here is a great fashionable item to add to your Halloween wardrobe, but it's not only for all hallos eve why not wear it all year long. Halloween is only days away so get started on your outfit. Whilst pondering over the Wildfox website I came across this unique skeleton rib jumper and fell in love with it. The jumper costs around £140, Their is no way we can afford that. So we decided to try and make our very own. And found it so easy to make and looks exactly the same at a very small price. £15 max! Bargain we say! This item looks great with leggings or disco pants. And a leather jacket for Halloween or every other day. We will style a fashion Halloween outfit nearer the day!

My finishing product

All you need

-plain black t-shirt

-plain black jumper

-PVC fabric

-scissors

-pencil

-card

-fabric glue

*sorry for the bad quality photos I used my blackberry*

I bought this jumper from George which cost around £8, it's a good quality jumper great for winter. I'm put the jumper over a piece of wood or you can use a hard service so the glue doesn't seep through.

Use the Skeleton stencil to copy.I placed my card under the printed stencil and pressed hard whilst
tracing the image so it indented through so you have an outline on the cardboard.

Once the stencil is placed on the PVC fabric ( the non PVC side) Draw around the stencil to have the image transferred onto the fabric.

Once you have transferred the image onto the fabric cut out as neatly as possible.

Once you have cut the fabric it should look like this.

Try the jumper or t-shirt on and place the skeleton on your top to see where to place the fabric. With a pin place the pin where you would like to place the fabric.
Use fabric glue to attach the fabric to your jumper or t-shirt
Place the fabric onto top where you have place the pin. Nice you have stuck the fabric to the jumper or t-shirt, remove the pin and let the glue try. Make sure you have a piece if cardboard or wood in-between the t-shirt or jumper. So the glue doesn't go through to the other side of the t- shirt or jumper.

And voila the products are made

To make the t-shirt a little more stylish i rolled up the sleeves to give it the hi roller look, this can also be worn by guys as well. its a great fashion accessories for Halloween and every other day if you choose.

let us know what you think.
